Media Manager, Programmatic

This position will drive omni-channel sales through strategic data and media activation for Kohl's, while leading a team overseeing programmatic activation for the organization.



Program Management

  • Create and lead bidding, inventory supply, frequency, and audience strategies
  • Oversee team’s planning and execution of biddable/programmatic media
  • Guide team to create and test new audiences
  • Act as a strategic thought partner on innovation for their practice area
  • Responsible for developing optimization guidelines and practices
  • Oversee team budget


Partner and Operations Management

  • Communicate with key stakeholders on practice area strategies
  • Influencing key partners to execute practice area agenda
  • Day to day leader with programmatic /biddable media technology partners


Management of Associates

  • Manage and influence direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices
  • Provide leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area
  • Create and promote an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications
  • Develop staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans




  • BA/BS, Marketing, Business Administration or related degree
  • 5+ years of programmatic experience
  • Expert level knowledge of demand site platforms and buying technologies
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Deep knowledge and experience with DMPs and DSPs
