JOB SUMMARY: Manage team responsible for implementation of paid search & contextual initiatives across all Points of Origin, including: day-to-day campaign audits, analyses and optimizations based on overall campaign benchmarks. Lead campaign implementation, including: ad copy creation, keyword builds and applying classification and tracking parameters. Key contact for all strategic & tactical efforts within Google AdWords, Yahoo, Bing and Adobe Media Optimizer platforms daily. Analyze and enhance the performance of the accounts, including: keywords, targeting, ad copy and the overall bidding process.  Develop compelling and insightful recommendations, and communicate these effectively to various stakeholders and among cross-functional teams. Stay up-to-date on industry trends in paid search and provide formalize Points of View to all levels of the organization.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage team responsible for the day-to-day paid search campaign tasks, including: keyword research, reporting, developing ad copy and overall optimizations

  • Provide reporting, analysis and optimization strategies by search engine, tactic and ad copy
  • Develop and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly paid search result reports to inform all levels of the organization
  • Manage overall paid search budget
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends through webinars and marketing research; provide campaign update recommendations based on webinar/white paper content
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree: Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Computer Science or related is preferred. 5-7 yrs. - Must have understanding of online marketing including the principles/tactics of Search Engine Marketing and Web Analytics.  Should have experience with Google Adwords, Adwords Editor, Bing Ads, and Bing Ads Editor.  Experience with Adobe Media Optimizer, Adobe SearchCenter and SiteCatalyst preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a deadline oriented environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in person and via e-mail
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with internal departments towards issue resolution/project release
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of products
