Account Manager – Digital Media / Advertising

Our fast-growing location-data analytics company with a proven business model and 100+ clients seeks a people-oriented, detail-minded, multi-tasker with experience in digital media attribution and excellent communication skills to serve as our account manager. This position – reporting to the Director of Analytics – will allow the right person room to grow in digital and mobile advertising, and location-based technology – in a supportive but fast-paced environment.

Arrivalist technology was developed by experienced industry entrepreneurs who have built and run several companies in one of the most exciting spaces in online media – the intersection of travel and advertising. We’ve raised tens of millions in venture capital creating these game-changing startups. Our patent-pending Arrivalist technology – developed over the past 4 years – uses a change in the location of mobile computing devices to measure the way advertising influences people to visit places. We measure the way media moves us. Our client base includes some of the biggest names in the tourism industry.

We’re looking for an ambitious, reliable person to help us manage our valued clients and their  growth from across the travel ecosystem and other markets.

Role: Account Manager

This is an opportunity for a highly organized, driven, enthusiastic person to get in on the ground floor with a new technology that is gaining rapid traction with online marketers. In your role as account manager, you will build and maintain client relationships, assure that campaigns were set up properly and deliver meaningful actionable insights – all as a part of the Arrivalist Client Services team. Your role will have a direct impact on helping clients see and understand the effects of their marketing to dial in greater success.

Responsibilities:

Working out of our mid-town NYC offices, responsibilities include managing and coordinating campaign setups with the Arrivalist team, as well as the client or their ad agency. Beyond setups, as an Account Manager, you will be responsible for taking the insights delivered by our analysts and conveying this information in a coherent story to help clients understand the insights and consultatively lead them to the best next steps.

Our Account Managers manage 20 to 25 clients. So the right person for this job will possess strong analytical, organizational and task/project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to convey the stories that clients’ numbers tell (via graphs and data visualizations). All will combine to ensure that our clients see, read, understand and act on the valuable insights generated by our analytics’ team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
  • Client service experience with an attribution platform
  • 2-3 years experience in account management
  • Media background – strong knowledge of digital media and metrics
  • Experience or demonstrated ability to deliver reports to clients

Proficiencies:

  • Strong working familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Tableau would be a definite plus
